Nomad is a campsite discovery tool powered by AI. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Campsite recommendations are generated by AI and may not be perfectly accurate. Always verify campsite availability, access conditions, fees, and regulations before visiting. Nomad is not responsible for outdated, incorrect, or incomplete campsite information.
You are responsible for your own safety when camping. Research road conditions, weather, fire restrictions, and permit requirements independently before any trip.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Any notes, ratings, or content you create within Nomad remains yours. By using the share feature, you grant us a limited license to display that campsite information publicly via share links.
Nomad offers an auto-renewing subscription called Nomad Pro, available exclusively through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system.
Pricing. Nomad Pro is offered at the following rates (USD):
Prices may vary by region. The actual price displayed at the App Store purchase confirmation is authoritative.
Free trial. New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. After the trial period ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the rate shown above unless cancelled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
Auto-renewal. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate, unless the price has changed.
Managing your subscription. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store account settings (iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). The "Manage Subscription" option in the Nomad app's Settings also opens this page directly.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store account settings described above. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to Nomad Pro features until that period ends.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not Nomad. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund approval is at Apple's discretion per their App Store refund policy.
Apple's role. This agreement is between you and Nomad; Apple is not a party to it. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for Nomad, and Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, claims, or losses arising from the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce these terms against you as such.
Changes to subscription pricing. We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated through the App Store in advance, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Nomad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that campsite data will be accurate or up to date.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nomad and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any injuries, property damage, or losses incurred during camping trips planned using our app.
Nomad uses third-party services including Anthropic (AI), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of Nomad is also subject to their respective terms of service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Nomad after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
